WWS first opened its doors in 1980.

Washington Wind Sports started out as a windsurf shop, back when it was the buzz in Bellingham. As skate and snowboarding started to pick up popularity in the 80's, WWS began to carry boarding gear and invest in these scenes.

WWS is rider-owned and community-driven, which means we only carry what we trust and ride ourselves. From the latest snowboards and skate decks to outerwear, shoes, and accessories, we hand-pick everything with one goal in mind: keeping you dialed in on the mountain, in the streets, or on the coast.

We're not here for the gear, we're doing it for the culture. We aim to support the next-gen of boarders, host events, and keep on bringing up our local community. Whether you're new to riding and getting your first board, or adding to your quiver of 12, our team is here to share knowledge, stories, and plenty of hype.
