From Burton:

Lightweight, soft flexing and BOA® Fit System adjustability.

Soft, forgiving, and quick to adjust, the women's Burton Mint BOA® boots are ready for progression right out of the box. Their relaxed ride lets you explore and experiment with terrain. A lightweight feel inspires a responsive ride, while the micro-adjustable lacing lets you fine-tune the fit and feel to match the day, the run, and your style with the quick turn of a dial.
